The Com Express Type 7, DV970, is an industrial motherboard based on Intel® Atom™ C3000 series server platform. The new COM Express module has 16 cores which offer high security yet low power consumption, and are used mainly to power IoT server applications. The motherboard supports up to four 10-Gigabit Ethernet interfaces, Rich expansion as 16 PCIe lanes, and the function of Cloud Remote Monitoring Platform or BMC. 3. COM Express Type 7 features dual channel DDR4 sockets for error-correcting code memory. It is best suited for automation, storage, and networking appliances including modular server designs, base stations for telecom carriers, service providers’ servers, and cloud servers.
