Valcor Engineering Corporation

Valcor Engineering Corporation began on a small tabletop in the corner of borrowed space on the second floor of an industrial loft in Newark, New Jersey.

The Cultural Touchstones provide us with four key initiatives:

• First, we each want to be a good person and a good teammate for our coworkers and customers. We do the right thing, always. We have a mutual trust and respect for each other, and our customers. We achieve more as a team than as an individual. We drive ourselves to make everyone successful at Valcor. Simply put, we are family.
• Second, we want to drive a winning attitude with ourselves and our customers and will go the extra mile to get the job done. We rely on each other’s problem-solving skills to create solutions for any obstacles we encounter. Our teamwork approach ensures that we succeed in satisfying our own expectations, those of our team, and most importantly, those of our customers. We work hard, but we have fun, too.
• Third, we strive to do our work on time and right the first time. We do this by taking personal responsibility for ensuring our work is done correctly and on time. We are lean and mean, and aspire to always do better. We have an Operational Excellence team devoted to identifying areas for improvement and creating new processes that ensure we get the job done without wasting time and resources.
• Fourth, we want to create an environment for success and raise the bar for the next challenge. Our enthusiasm and passion ensure that our customers are happy, and will provide us with new opportunities to grow and succeed.
