The CPS storage system is a manual picking system for route-optimized picking of trading units on pallets or roll containers, supported by data radio, RF, pick-by-voice or pick-by-light technology.

The order-related replenishment in the pick front is automated by stacker cranes.

The positioning of an article is system-controlled and aligned to the order picking in accordance with the store layout.

According to the "man-to-goods" principle, several orders can also be picked in parallel by one order picker in the CPS.
