Nuclear transformers KT1-med

Single-phase core transformers for medical rooms are manufactured according to DIN EN 61558-2-15 ( VDE 0570-2-15 ). They have separate windings with reinforced insulation.

They must not be rated smaller than 3.15 kVA and not larger than 8 kVA for IT systems.

The transformers are available in both vertical and horizontal versions.

Note: med. used transformers must not be protected against overload. They should only be protected against short circuits!

Characteristic properties of transformers for medical rooms:

• Foot angles are grown separately from the iron core.

• Separate windings for inputs and. Output voltage.

• Built-in PTC thermistor sensor in the primary windings.

• The secondary winding is designed with center tap.

• Screen winding led out between primary and secondary winding on terminal block.

• Inrush current
• Ambient temperature max. 40 ° C.
