Vibratory Screens SEO Range

Screening on the SEO1- is fundamentally a process where particles are presented to a series of apertures on a stainless-steel mesh to separate particles based on their size.

The screen is fitted with an infeed plate to lay flat long particles and help spread the material to the screen’s full width. Particles smaller than the mesh size will drop through and discharge from the base of the screen with oversize particles discharging from the front.

STANDARD CONFIGURATION

  • Screen size calculated based upon material, separation required, bulk density and throughput volume.
  • Mild steel, fully welded rigid construction having a spray paint or powder coated finish
  • Fully enclosed screen chamber with PVC coated membrane covers
  • Inlet and discharge ports suitable for flexible seals
  • Mild steel infeed plate
  • Stainless steel woven wire mesh, end tensioned
  • Elliptical screen action generated by a single vibratory motor mounted on a dedicated tube assembly above the screen area
  • Coil compression springs providing isolation of vibration from the supporting structure

TYPICAL APPLICATIONS

Screens can be configured for use in industrial sectors such as recycling, wood processing, mineral and chemical processing plus animal feed and human food production.

  • Scalping – The removal of a small quantity of oversize material (approximately 5%) from a feed where most of the particles are predominantly half the size of the mesh aperture. Capacities for scalping applications are the highest of all screening functions.
  • Grading – The separation of material based on particle size. Capacities for grading applications vary greatly depending on the material specification, separation size and required efficiency.
  • De-dusting – The removal of a small quantity of fines (approximately 10%) from a feed consisting predominantly of particles at least twice the size of the mesh aperture used to pass the fines. Capacities for de-dusting applications are relatively high.

AVAILABLE OPTIONS

  • Stainless steel construction (gr304 and gr316)
  • Support frame
  • Other forms of screen media such as high tensile steel mesh and polyurethane panels, for example.
