THE RIGHT CONVEYOR TECHNOLOGY FOR YOUR PAINT SHOP
Sprimag has been successfully using pallet conveyor technology for the highly flexible horizontal painting of plastic parts for years. The conveyor system consists of a wide variety of elements such as lifting and lowering stations, transverse shifts, conveyor sections that can and cannot accumulate, etc. These elements enable a flexible material flow concept, which can include bypasses, crossings or switches. The workpieces are transported through the painting process on a goods carrier (pallet) that is not permanently connected to the conveyor system. Both stop-and-go and continuous modes of operation with different process speeds within the paint shop are possible.
MODULAR EXPANDABILITY OF THE COATING UNIT
The parts to be coated are moved with a transport axis inside the spray booth. The painting or coating is carried out by one or more spray guns mounted on an axis installed transversely to the direction of transport. During the coating program, the pallet can be rotated via a third axis so that coating takes place crosswise in the paint shop.
