ZPK 1000/1200 a ZPK 1900 Crosscut, cylindrical saw
The ZPK crosscut saw is a reliable, sturdy machine intended for incorporation in a manipulation line for processing of wooden material and its crosscutting to the required range of products. It is incorporated in the conveying system of the line and in connection with the final-measuring conveyer and a suitable control system makes high performance possible.
The machine frame consists of a stiff weldment from steel profiles and sheets, designed in the left-hand-side make, as standard - the machine is located on an independent foundation on the left-hand side of the conveying system. If the customer wishes, it is possible to produce the machine in a mirror-image design. The saw disc whose diameter could be 1000/1200/1900 mm is fixed to the spindle located in special ball bearings. The whole spindle is replaceable and is located on a swing arm whose axe of swinging is the same as the axe of the saw disc drive motor.
Transfer of the output from the motor to the saw disc is achieved by means of a flexible link and a multiple V-belt. Movement into and out of the cut slot is possible thanks to a direct hydraulic motor of modern design, regulated by a proportional valve with the possibility of speed regulation. When in the starting position, the saw disc is completely hidden in the steel cover from which only the working section of the disc comes out during operation. The sawn log is tightened by means of two pairs of suspended clamping arms located in front of and behind the saw disc. These armes are controlled by direct hydraulic electric motors controlled by electric valves. Pressure oil feeders for individual hydraulic elements are all connected to one connection point either in the shared hydraulic system of the line, or in an individual hydraulic set.
The machine is equipped with a set saw disc, as standard; however, when the customer requires so, it is possible to use a special saw disc with replaceable hard-metal teeth and a special sharpening adapter.
The saw disc should be replaced in the initial position after the side section of the cover is opened. This cover cannot be opened while the saw disc is moving. The machine is controlled from a control booth of the whole technological point and it can be set to automatic regime controlled by the computer, or it can be controlled manually through individual operating devices. Waste up to a length of 350 mm and saw dust are removed by the lift-up conveyer from under the crosscut saw.
