The ZFR is a highly efficient two-flame tube boiler with a three-pass design for 18,000 to 55,000 kg/h of steam at up to 30 bar. Two independent furnaces and flue gas paths ensure a particularly high level of flexibility thanks to the double modulation range.

Very high efficiency across the entire power range
The ZFR is characterized by its high efficiency at every power level. Combined with an integrated economiser, you increase efficiency. An optional condensing heat exchanger for the residual waste heat further reduces the fuel requirement. Due to the spacious combustion chamber, particularly low emissions of less than 50 mg NOx are possible.
Reliable solution for heavily fluctuating steam requirements
Both flue gas paths and furnaces of the boiler are completely separated from each other. This doubles the modulation range and protects the burners through continuous operation and significantly fewer on and off cycles. The ZFR reliably meets dynamic performance requirements and generates process heat highly efficiently even in partial load ranges.
Project-specific equipment and option for superheated steam generation
The boiler is individually configured, manufactured and equipped for each application. You get a complete system with coordinated equipment, effective thermal insulation and preconfigured controls. With the optional superheater module, the ZFR-X is suitable for generating superheated steam for large industrial or power plant systems.
Future-proof with options for low-NOx and CO2-neutral operation
The ZFR can be used individually with different fuels and its low-NOx version reduces emissions over the long term. Operation with hydrogen, biogas, bio-oil or as a hybrid for using green electricity is also possible. The design for the CO2-neutral fuels can be done ex works or later as a conversion.
Smart boiler control and seamless system integration
With intelligent control features, the Bosch BCO and SCO boiler controls offer fully automatic boiler operation and easy connection to your control technology. The digital efficiency assistant and protected remote access can be optionally selected for seamless Industry 4.0 integration.
Stable supply and durable design "Made in Germany"
Thanks to the large vapor space and three-component control, the ZFR offers high pressure consistency and consistently high vapor quality. The proven construction "Made in Germany" is particularly durable and robust. You get a reliable Bosch system for process heat generation.
