The UL-S is a highly efficient three-pass steam boiler for 1,250 to 28,000 kg/h of steam at up to 30 bar. With particularly low emissions and the ability to convert to biofuels or hydrogen, the UL-S offers future security.

Very high efficiency for low running costs and emissions
Thanks to the integrated economiser, the UL-S uses the energy used even more efficiently and saves up to 7% fuel. In addition, an optional condensing heat exchanger can recover almost all of the waste heat and reduce the exhaust gas temperature to as much as 50 °C. Due to the spacious combustion chamber, very low emissions of less than 50 mg NOx are possible.
Customized equipment and future-proof technology
The UL-S is individually configured, manufactured and equipped for each application - for easier planning and faster installation. Boiler and burner technology work together effectively, even when using multi-fuel firing systems. A conversion to climate-neutral fuels such as biogas, bio-oil or hydrogen is possible at any time.
Design tried and tested tens of thousands of times, particularly durable and easy to maintain
The Bosch boiler design UL-S has an asymmetrical arrangement of flame and smoke tubes. This causes natural water circulation for quick heating and dynamic response. The "Made in Germany" design, which has been tried and tested tens of thousands of times, is particularly durable and maintenance-friendly thanks to easy accessibility.
Continuous vapor quality for reliable supply
Thanks to the large vapor space and three-component control, the UL-S offers high pressure consistency and vapor quality, even with heavily fluctuating vapor requirements. This optimizes boiler operation and ensures reliable availability of the process heat. The Bosch system is particularly suitable for the food and manufacturing industries.
Special designs and superheated steam possible
Bosch also offers the UL-S, for example, as a waste heat boiler with firing and a fourth pass for proportionate use of the waste heat, or as a pure waste heat boiler. Another option is a hybrid boiler with an electric heating element for green electricity. With a superheater module, the UL-SX can be used as a superheated steam boiler, for example for steam turbines.
Smart boiler control and seamless system integration
With the Bosch boiler control BCO, you can easily operate the UL-S via a touch display. The boiler system is compatible with all common control technology systems. The optional efficiency assistant and protected remote access enable seamless Industry 4.0 integration. All controls are pre-configured, fully wired and tested.
