IAI Corporation was founded in 1976 in Shizuoka, Japan, and is one of the leading manufacturers of electric actuators and industrial robots. Since 1995, the company has been represented by its subsidiary IAI Industrieroboter GmbH in Germany and many partner companies throughout Europe.

As a specialist for components and system solutions for pneumatic-free automation technology, IAI has more than forty years of experience in the development, design and manufacture of electric actuators. This is one of the reasons why the product range is considered the most comprehensive on the market today.

Portfolio of over 20,000 products

The product range includes electric linear actuators and rotary drives, grippers, direct drive motors as well as a huge of range of cartesian robots, tabletop robots and SCARA robots. The corresponding controllers, with all popular fieldbus connections, further complete the portfolio. In addition to the standard version, many products are also offered as IP-protected models or in a cleanroom compliant design.
