The vehicle computer Compact M8 in vehicle PC without a fan is suitable for continuous use at the extended temperature range from –40 to +85 °C on the component level. This in-vehicle PC boasts a particularly sturdy build and a unique interface pinout. It has USB, CAN, RS232 and RS485 interfaces and can be equipped with up to three additional ethernet interfaces. Wi-Fi and LTE can be integrated with the help of optional wireless modules. This turns the box PC into an IoT device: vehicles can exchange data or forward them to central location.

In terms of its processor, Syslogic relies on the trusted E3825 and E3845 industrial processors by Intel Atom (Bay Trail). They achieve a high processing power and high MBTF (mean time between failure) values at a low power input.
