LMFC motor starter panel

Load Break Switch Panels have the main switching device, the Load Break Switch, fixed in the metal-clad Enclosure.

• The Fuse-Switch is operated from the front of the panel and is interlocked with the Earthswitch.

• The Power Fuses can be inspected and replaced by opening the front door.

• An additional Earthswitch can be installed so that both sides of the Contactor can be earthed.

• The panel has a Control Cubicle in which the low voltage relays and instruments, related to the circuit, are fitted.

• The busbar chamber is segregated and aligns with the busbar chambers of the rest of the switchboard.

Power connections are made on Droppers at the rear of the panel, which is accessed through removable Covers. Current Transformers are normally mounted in this section of the panel.

Provision has been made to fit an auxiliary transformer in the panel to provide power for the operation of the Contactor.
