When drilling, Hotoprint relies on high-precision systems from Schmoll Maschinen GmbH . Schmoll MX 2 automatic drilling machines work with the latest synchronous drilling spindles. These generate both high torque and high speed. These are important prerequisites for being able to produce mechanical bores with a diameter of 150 µm.
The drilling machines hold up to 3,600 tools, which are checked for wear and tear and replaced if necessary. In this way, the drilling process during circuit board production can be kept efficient. "Contact Drill" becomes blind vias in the production ofmultilayerprinted circuit boards
