Product description

The Herding ® MAXX series offers the operator all the proven advantages of pure surface filtration with the Herding sinter plate filter for use with large volume flows.

The Herding MAXX large filter systems work according to the principle of pure surface filtration with the Herding sinter plate filter and are generally suitable for the filtration or product recovery of fine, abrasive, but also adhesive dust or dust that tends to agglomerate. The Herding MAXX series is predestined for large product quantities to be separated in volume flows of more than 1,000,000 m³/h.

The modular concept allows the most effective use of space during transport and delivery, as well as high flexibility when setting up the systems. Depending on the situation on the construction site, the screwed construction concept offers various alternatives from basic components to pre-assembled large assemblies.

Areas of application can be found, among other things, in steel production, the extraction/processing/transport of sand and ore as well as in recycling. Other areas of application for the Herding MAXX series are in the glass industry, chemicals, metal processing, food and e.g. B. to find plastics production.

  • The upper part of the large filter systems can be designed either as a walk-in clean gas room or as a simple housing closure with access to the clean gas room. The connection to the clean gas pipeline is made via a single interface
  • The raw gas inlet into the heart of the plant is located in the middle part. The raw gas pipeline can also be connected with just one flange. Baffle plate systems at the filter inlet ensure effective pre-separation, serve to protect the filter elements and create a targeted flow control
  • The dust fractions are separated by the patented Herding ® sintered plate filter, which enables pure surface filtration on a rigid body basis. The filter elements are fitted from the clean gas side. The jet pulse unit is located on the outside of the filter system, so that maintenance and inspection of the entire cleaning system can be carried out during operation without switching off the filter system
  • The lower part of the filter system is formed by the dust discharge funnel, which can be equipped with various continuous discharge systems depending on the requirements
  • Due to significantly lower expenses for cranes and scaffolding, the assembly times are reduced by up to 30% compared to conventional filter systems
