RSR-72
The relay for restarting and re-acceleration type RSR-72 has the function of carrying out the automatic re-insertion of the motors, after the opening of the command and protection devices caused by the transient lack or decrease of the mains voltage.
After stopping the motors the RSR-72 relays allow an automatic restart with a correct sequence according to the needs of the machining processes.
RSR-72 relays are housed in flush-mounting or panel mounting or on 35mm DIN rail on extractable undecal base. On the front there are the potentiometers and microswitches for the settings and an LED for functional status indication.
OPERATING CHARACTERISTICS
The RSR-72 relay is used in case the contactor control must be directly controlled by the RSR-72 output contact.
Unlike the RSR-72 model, the RSR-72A type keeps the contact closed after restarting the motor / contactor.
A memory time of 0.2 to 60 seconds and a delay time of 0.2 to 1000 seconds can be set on the relay.
In the event of a power failure (or a value less than 70% of the rated voltage) and subsequent voltage return (at least 90% of the rated voltage) within the set memory time the motor restart output will be activated after the time delay set.
If the voltage returns after the memory time, the automatic restart will not occur. With the F2 function activated, if the voltage returns in less than 0.2 seconds (minimum memory time), the motor will immediately re-accelerate. If the re-acceleration function is not activated (function F1), the automatic restart will take place after the set delay time even if the time for the interruption of the voltage is less than 0.2 seconds.
