BROSA force measuring pins MEMS represent a further development of the proven BROSA force measuring pins and enable the line load to be determined and output directly in swiveling crane booms. An integrated MEMS-based angle meter allows the suspended load to be calculated, taking into account the wrap, depending on the boom position. By integrating these two measuring systems, the complexity of the design can be further reduced. This reduces possible parasitic influences to a minimum.

There are a wide variety of applications in which our force measuring pin MEMS is used:

• boom tips
• luffing tips
• Measuring points with variable rope wrap

But of course many other possible uses are also conceivable.

In addition to a customer-specific design, our force measuring pins have other features as standard:
