BJ-Gear A/S' STRONG gears are our series of bevel gears. The STRONG gears can be used for continuous operation on all types of industrial machinery. The compact construction and design enable installation in any position, even in limited space.

Compact and easy to assemble

BJ-Gear A/S' bevel gears are characterized by high quality and very robust design. The gear housing is made of cast iron and the drive and wheel are mainly made with Klingelnberg Palloid spiral teeth, which provide quiet, quiet and efficient operation. The BJ bevel gear is produced in four different versions: 

• Type "K" is the standard version, where the bearing consists of heavy-duty single-row deep groove ball bearings on ground bearing seats.
• Type "P" and "V" are gears intended for the transmission of large torques at low revolutions. The bearings are heavy-duty, tapered roller bearings on ground bearing seats.
• Type "L" is a special gear manufactured according to customer requirements.

The bevel gears can be supplied with up to four shafts, hollow shaft and with an output torque of up to 1,000 Nm, and it can be made with bell housing and coupling for direct attachment of the motor.The bevel gears are available in the following ratios 1:1; 1.5:1; 2:1 and 3:1 and can also be supplied as a reversing gear. All bevel gears are lubricated for life and can be supplied in a hygienic version with food-approved lubricating oil, stainless shafts and with a rust-protected yellow chromated gear housing. If there is a need for special shafts or flanges, we have extensive experience in customizing gears - even in small quantities - or in constructing special gears, for example with gear housings in stainless steel or as precision gears with reduced backlash.
