Standard worm gear in stainless steel

BJ-Gear A/S develops and produces stainless worm gears of high quality. The Standard series has been developed specifically for the food industry and other industries, where stringent requirements are continually placed on the resistance of the materials and easy-to-clean design.

Hygienic and easy to clean

The standard gears are manufactured with a smooth stainless gear housing. They are lubricated for life and can of course be supplied with food-approved oil. The oil sealing rings are made of nitrile rubber as standard.To reduce the risk of bacterial growth, the design is characterized by smooth machined surfaces without unnecessary flanges, recesses and mounting holes. It is also possible to order the gears with torque arm, side flange, free worm and insert shaft. Other adaptations are carried out on request, including as stainless  spindle gears.In cases where a complete hygienic gear motor is desired, we can offer the BJ gear with an attached stainless AC or servo motor.
