Ventilation unit ALTER
Ventilation unit with heat recovery for residential homes.
It is intended for continuous exhaust of polluted air and continuous supply of fresh air with automatic, intensive and irregular ventilation upon activation of individual exhaust ventilators in apartments (kitchen – fume hood, bathroom, toilet) in basic (daily) and reduced (night) mode of operation.
Air-handling unit with recuperation ALTER is designed for continuous ventilation of apartments in multiple dwellings. The unit assures supply of filtered air (EU 4) and min. 50% utilization of heat from exhaust air. It is equipped with continuous regulation of air discharge quantity that responds to operation of separate exhaust ventilators 3 (kitchen – fume hood, bathroom, toilet) in individual apartments by increasing the rate of exhaust and incoming air with no need of electrical connection with individual apartments. Adjustable timing enables reduced operation at night. An outlet of polluted air from exhaust unit is directed upwards (above the unit) and, to prevent undesirable mixing, fresh air is absorbed through the bottom part of the opposite side.
The unit is designed mainly for outdoor use. Installation of the unit requires a rectangular base with min. inner dimensions 750 x 750 mm and min. depth 400 mm forming an air tight shaft with a terminal of supply and exhaust pipes for individual apartments. Supply of fresh air is assured by means of flexible connection pipe with diameter 160 mm.
The ALTER 700 unit has a frame structure with sandwich panels from galvanized plate and mineral wool filling. Roof of the unit is attached by means of screws with lifting loops for handling. Access to the unit is enabled by removable panel with a handle and four quick-closing devices. Intake opening is provided with easily removable plate filter with easily replaceable air-filter mat. Discharge opening is terminated by a grid (jalousie). The units are anchored by means of insulated foundation extension piece, inside of which, sewerage ventilation pipe or discharge of condensate from recuperation unit can be brought out. This extension piece is not standard part of the unit – it is solved individually in relation to particular installation readiness. Trap for discharge of originating condensate is part of the supplied unit.
