Sigma Components (Sigma) is a leading manufacturer of precision engineered aerospace products, from rigid pipes, ducting, sub-assemblies, fabrications and sheet details to composite tubing, specialist fasteners, machining, and polishing & finishing, we make the most of our global manufacturing capabilities to deliver the very best value at all times.
As well as manufacturing airframe parts and power plant components in traditional materials and composites, our unique structure – with manufacturing facilities across the UK and China – means we’re also able to offer customers a range of value-added services including global supply chain management, new product introduction and product lifecycle management.
Our Technology Team brings together Sigma’s R&D and NPI capabilities. It is also home to a new range of lightweight and composite aircraft parts under the SigmaLite brand. This ground-breaking collection includes composite pipes for aero-engines and airframe applications, a variety of lightweight pipe end fittings produced using additive manufacturing techniques and composite drive shafts, all designed to help aerospace OEMs and Tier One customers meet the challenges of reducing aircraft weight.
