AboutScaglia Indeva S.p.A

Founded in Italy in 1838 by the Scaglia family, Scaglia INDEVA has been at the forefront of manufacturing from the beginning.  For more than 50 years, we have been developing world-leading and innovative solutions for material handling that not only increase productivity, but also improve safety and ergonomics for employees.

Over the years, Scaglia INDEVA has diversified into a wide range of business interests across the world, with a highly efficient sales and service network enabling us to meet the ever-changing market demands that our customers face.

In 2004, Scaglia INDEVA SpA was established to enhance business growth, provide better customer services, as well as taking over operations of the Liftronic® range of industrial manipulators.

Based in Chesterfield, with great transport links, the UK arm of Scaglia INDEVA is perfectly located to provide bespoke material handling and lifting solutions to customers across the country.  We have a state-of-the-art showroom showcasing the latest innovations in material handling technology, so that our customers can see and feel for themselves the many benefits our industrial manipulators offer.

Dedication to improvements in quality, ergonomics, safety and production

Scaglia INDEVA is dedicated to improving quality, safety, ergonomics and output along production lines throughout the world.  The Liftronic® range of industrial manipulators not only achieves these goals but, through continuous innovation, we have also been able to design industrial manipulators that meet LEAN Manufacturing principles.

Our Lean equipment (the INDEVA Lean System®) consists of a range of components that deliver higher productivity, increased flow of production lines, reduced costs, and improved safety and ergonomic performance in line with LEAN Manufacturing principles.

We were the first company to be awarded with the UNI EN ISO 9001: 1994 Quality System Certification for the design, production and sale of material handling systems.
