JKF was founded by master blacksmith Louis Nielsen in 1957. The original name was "Jysk Knæ- og Platerørsfabrik", but as a result of increasing exports, the name was changed in 1982 to the more colloquial name JKF Industri A/S. From 2014, the name has changed to the simple JKF – regardless of where we are in the world.
Since the foundation, things have gone strong - both with us, our customers, in the industry and in society. The company's roots have been preserved, but we will always strive for improvements that secure and expand our market position and future at the same time as we ensure customers the right solutions. We are still at home in the beautiful North Jutland village of Als, located in fresh sea air right next to the Kattegat, and our vision is unchanged. We will continue to be among the leading manufacturers and suppliers of components for process ventilation systems and thus contribute to a better global environment.
The Danish factory and group headquarters in Als today contain up-to-date and modern administration, development and production facilities of approx. 25,000 sq m. JKF has manufacturing subsidiaries in Malaysia and Poland as well as sales offices in Lithuania, Indonesia and Singapore.
JKF is certified according to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 for the benefit of both our customers, neighbours/surroundings and employees. The certification ensures customers the same level of quality every time they buy a JKF product. They also ensure that the products are produced in a good working environment without strain on the external environment, and that the conditions are assessed every year by DNV Danmark.
Neighbors/surroundings are assured that the immediate environment is not burdened more than described in the company's environmental approval, and that work is continuously being done to reduce the burden on the environment.
Our employees also benefit from the certifications. Their everyday life is described and there are work instructions and procedures for their work. The working environment organization works actively and continuously to improve the company's working environment through rounds, meetings and a daily dialogue in the working environment groups. Every year, new targets are drawn up for quality, the environment and the working environment. This ensures that there is always development and improvement of the employees' working conditions.
