Captor Corporation Assembly & Design

Standard and custom-built capacitor winding equipment gives the engineers at Captor Corporation the advantage of almost limitless design capabilities. Values, sizes, and ratings are determined upon the application and capacitors are designed for reliability in a compact package.

We offer standard capacitor brochures, but you are not limited by what you see. We can design your specific capacitor application in the configuration you desire.

Captor inventories a vast array of capacitor films and foils. This allows us to custom wind almost any capacitor configuration.

The equipment and knowledge we have attained over 45 years of making the highest quality EMI filters has helped us build our contract manufacturing business to a reliable solution for low to medium-volume jobs. From reverse engineering circuit boards to brand new designs, Captor will see your project through to completion.

Captor designers and engineers use the latest software to concisely layout products. When necessary, detailed drawings are generated to provide clear and concise assembly instructions. 3D Cad, 2D Cad, PCAD, and other software programs are used to provide such direction.

An advanced shielded room with an all-welded design offers dependable pre-compliance testing to applicable specifications. Captor engineers can also test products that are failing a specific test parameter and design a filter that will eliminate the noise causing the failure.
