Robots in the MOTOMANMS series are especially used in spot welding applications. The MS models have a load capacity of 80 kg to 120 kg and have a working area from 1 623 mm to 2 236 mm.
The six-axle robot has an advantage over conventional durable robots thanks to its streamlined design and ability to use smaller spot welding guns as well as the ability to position robots closer to the workpiece, which shortens the welding lines, reducing cycle times and as a result provides a flexible adjustment of the weldlines. The inner wiring extends from the L axis to the robot socket and through the center of the S axis.
