The "AP" series rotary pneumatic actuators use the pinion / rack mechanism to transform a straight motion into a rotating motion, both double and single acting.

Technical features

• Supply pressure : 2 bar (29 psi) to 8 bar (116 psi) double acting; from 5 bar (73 psi) to 8 bar (116 psi) single acting; maximum supply pressure 10 bar (145 psi)

• Fluid : dry or lubricated air

• Temperature : -20 ° C (-4 ° F) to + 80 ° C (175 ° F), on request from -50 ° C (-58 ° F) to + 150 ° C (302 ° F)

• Connections : lower drilling for valve coupling according to ISO 5211 / DIN 3337 standards, interface for solenoid valve, upper shaft end and upper hole for fixing accessories according to NORMS VDI / VDE 3845 NAMUR

• Body : gold-plated anodized extruded aluminum alloy

• Heads : die-cast aluminum alloy with black epoxy coating

• Stroke : standard AP series: 90 ° with standard adjustment ± 3 °, on request APM series: bi-directional, stroke adjustment ± 5 °

The overall dimensions are the same for both versions.

The ideal application is to operate ball and butterfly valves where the angle of rotation is 90 °, but can also be used on other equipment.
