Big End Cage KZK

Used at connecting rod big end. Support high centrifugal and acceleration forces and are suitable for high speeds. Cages for big end are guided in the big end connecting rod bore with a very low radial clearance between Cage OD and connecting rod bore to avoid damage of the cages due to high centrifugal forces. The radial movement of the cage in relation to the connecting rod bore and the rolling elements is as small as possible. The radial internal clearance is dependent on the needle roller sort as well as the shaft and housing tolerances and can be adjusted by means of the needle roller sort.

Our standard cages are supplied with surface in blackened condition.
