With the ELO-INDIVIDUAL, SMS Elotherm GmbH offers tailor-made solutions for individual customer requirements in terms of process/procedure, cycle time, workpiece geometry, transport concept and material flow. Overall, a comprehensive range of workpieces can be covered here, for example for all axle and drive components as well as steering and transmission components. In addition, chain links, guide rails and many other mechanical engineering components as well as tools such as machine knives and files can also be processed with these configurable, modular concepts for induction hardening. SMS Elotherm GmbH has extensive leading process know-how to subject even complicated geometries and demanding workpieces to a safe and highly productive hardening process.

Fully automatic operation with short cycle times

Wherever fully automatic operation with short cycle times is required, a modular concept is the right decision. With the concept, the machines are seamlessly integrated into existing production lines. Depending on the inductive hardening task, the machine can be equipped with several stations. The modular machine concept offers the possibility of decoupling the internal workpiece transport and workpiece clamping in the individual hardening stations. This offers the advantage for the operator that only one workpiece has to be examined and evaluated for the quality release, which greatly reduces the quality release process.
