Typical applications

Isolating transformer for use in IT networks according to VDE 0100-710; device for medical appliances and health care environment. Primary-/ Secundary voltages: 230 / 230 V.

Specifications

• 1 phase isolating transformer according to VDE 0100-710 requirements.
• Construction according to protection class II; enhanced insulation (test voltage 4 KV between PRI / SEC shielding)
• Static shielded winding between Primary- and Secundary winding; directed to insulated feeder clamp.
• Thermo switch in PRI winding > thermal overload signal, directed to feeder clamps
• Short circuit voltage
  • Open-circuit operation current
    • Inrush current
      • Secundary winding provides central tap for insulation monitoring (Note: Symmetric connection design is recommended)
      • PRI / SEC feeder clamps located in a separate case according to VDE0606
