Basic substation for the network

NPM 300 is a reliable outdoor transformer substations with a steel structure, intended for energy distribution for normal needs. The series includes several outdoor transformer substations with a standard structure, managed from the outside. The substations are manufactured according to the needs of the customer.

NPM 300 is delivered either with a triangle type or a flat type roof. The plinth is made of steel but a concrete option is also available. The base contains a special oil recovery basin. The transformer substations can be equipped with air-insulated or SF6-isolated equipment. The colour and coating options for the NPM 300 system are

• epoxy powder painted surface (standard colour effect beige)
• wooden board panelling
• crushed stone coating: e.g. natural white, red granite, grey granite

NPM transformer substations are manufactured from hot-dip galvanized sheet steel, which has been treated against white rust. Norelco outdoor transformer substations can be found everywhere across Finland.

The all-round NPM-300 model range consists of three basic solutions to meet the various needs in distribution network:

• NPM-304 air-insulated transformer substation
• NPM-303 air-insulated transformer substation with one feeder
• NPM-330 SF6-isolated transformer substation
• NPM-302 satellite transformer substation
