NERAK's vertical baggage lifts transport baggage and luggage from one level to another, such as from check-in to sorting. An efficient, space-saving solution, NERAK lifts occupy less than a quarter of the space spiral conveyors require, and less than a tenth of the space required for an inclining conveyor.
We offer special designs for raw baggage as well as for totes and ICS, in standard and OOG size configurations, ensuring reliable transport for almost all baggage types, including backpacks, computer bags, and hard-cover suitcases. Powered by NERAK's Rubber Block Chain, our baggage lifts offer quiet, durable, and long-term operation.
NERAK's baggage CVCs (Continuous Vertical Conveyors) offer high-throughput solutions in both "S" and "C" configuration. NERAK baggage lifts are installed at major airports around the globe, including AMS, AUH, CDG, DFW, DXB, FRA, LGW, LHR, MAD, MCO, YVR, YYC, and YYZ. We work closely with BHS integrators and port authorities to provide highly efficient baggage handling systems for airports, train stations, and cruise line terminals.
NERAK's continuous baggage conveyors are great choices for:
- "S" and "C" configurations
- Capacities of up to 1,400 BPH (in S-Configuration)
- Lift Heights of up to 40 m / 130 ft
- Installations near operator workstations due to the quiet operation
NERAK baggage VRCs (Vertical Reciprocating Conveyors) are typically used for lower capacity requirements and/or oversize baggage. A belt conveyor on a carrier can take baggage up to 2.5 m (8 ft) length and 100 kg (220 lbs) weight. VRCs can be designed for both loose luggage as well as trays.

- Level changes with lower capacity requirements
- OOG/oversize luggage

- Special handling applications (TSA/security inspection stations)
