Drive units for the Mechrail™ aluminium crane system

When heavy loads need to be set and kept in motion, or when movement is required over large work areas, the Mechrail™ crane system can be advantageously fitted with drive units. Powerdrive™ is an electric drive unit for Mechrail™, integrated in the crane system trolleys.

Smooth and progressive drive impetus

Speed is progressively variable via a frequency converter and is controlled with a joystick. The drive unit can be used for drive along both the X and Y axes, and even as a fail-safe brake with the aid of additional controls units. With a 4-way joystick, fast and smart movement is possible along both the X and Y axes at the same time.

Pneumatic Powerdrive™

Powerdrive™ is also available in a pneumatic version.
