Introduction

The competitive solution for your Die Mold program, F-series was developed to target the medium to higher end Die Mold market. F-Series is dedicated to target majority of the Die Mold Industries like Precision Plastic Mold, Die Casting, and Forging Die. Typical applications will be Core, Cavity, electrode making and Fine 3D machining.

Features

STRUCTURE

F-Series maintains a highly rigid mechanical structure and is ideal for precision die mold machining. It provides twice the mechanical structure rigidity compared to previous design.

Wider column to bed contact area provides efficient cutting force transfer. The X & Z axis motion system support does not have any overhang and maintains a constant workload.

The F-Series mechanical structure is symmetrically designed to achieve better thermal stability. The table is mounted on the Y axis to give further enhance structure symmetry.

MOTION CONTROL

To ensure the best results, a good controller and software is required. The F3 and F5 utilize the Makino Pro 5 Controller with the GI.3 combined with Super Geometric Intelligence (SGI.4) software for fine motion control even at a high feedrate as a standard. This control technology is developed specifically for high feedrate, tight tolerance machining of complex, 3D-contoured shapes involving continuous tiny block of NC data.

CHIP MANAGEMENT

Designed for the Precision Die Mold industry, F series has a front coolant tank as a machine standard.

Front tank design is recommended for the Precision Die Mold industry, which generates lesser chips compared to parts machining. Recommendation of front coolant tank design is for industries that generate fewer chips for their application.

The benefits of which are the following:

  • Space saving design and compact footprint.

  • Chip tray located at the front of the machine can be emptied while machining.

  • Smaller tank capacity resulting to lower overhead cost.

Efficient Chip Removal

  • 5-Nozzle coolant supply device (Standard Specification)

  • 4 coolant nozzles and 1 air blower nozzle are effectively positioned around the spindle.

  • Through Spindle air (optional specification)

  • Air is supplied from tool tip and holder.

  • Through Spindle Coolant (1.5 Mpa and 3.0 Mpa)

  • (Optional Specification)

  • Coolant is supplied from the inside of the holder and tool tip.
