The LMS 2 series of KML standard linear motor systems was developed to position small to medium loads with high dynamics. The system series is characterized by motors with a very high power density, which can be traced back to a compact design and the use of high-performance, iron-core linear motors.

Due to the rigid and low-vibration construction, high positioning accuracy can be achieved - even with very high dynamics. The structure - with two linear guides arranged in parallel on a base plate machined from solid material - is the basis for the achievable accuracy.

Due to the flexibility of the modular system, the stroke length explained in more detail in the type code can also be manufactured to order. In conjunction with the large selection of motor variants and the extensive accessories, it is possible to use a system that optimally meets the requirements. KML linear motor systems of the LMS 2 series can also be combined with systems from other series to form multi-axis solutions with the help of the standardized adapter parts.
