The FAM tracked conveyor bridges were developed so that the special technical process of stockpiling the ore, reloading the exhausted stockpile and piling up the new ore stockpile is possible as a continuous dynamic process in a timely and spatial manner.
After the highly efficient use in the dynamic leach pad systems for handling copper and nickel ores, FAM's tracked conveyor bridges have found a qualitatively new use in the landfilling of red mud residues that result from the extraction of aluminum oxide from aluminium-bearing ores.
