New machine concept for canisters, IBCs, barrels, water tanks and a variety of technical parts

 The newly designed XBLOW series includes the machine sizes 50, 100, 200 and 300, which are available as single-station machines. The heart of this series is the central clamping unit with two diagonal bars and a two-stage hybrid-electric clamping drive for clamping forces of 500 - 3,000 KN. The use of servo-hydraulics has enabled the energy requirement to be significantly reduced. The use of blow molds of different thicknesses is considered in terms of design. The operator can use the new Bekum Control 8.0 machine control on the HMI to conveniently and easily set very large variable mold thicknesses, which are not possible with other electric clamping drives in large blow molding systems. The system does not have to be adjusted mechanically. While with battery heads the clamping unit is arranged centrally under the platform, continuous heads require a slightly offset position. Modern and quiet, speed-controlled hydraulic units reduce energy consumption and the noise level to 71 dB(A).
