The ABP-ITPC-CV22 / ABP-ITPC-CV22-2S Integrated 3 Transceivers Power Supply Case (ITPC) is a complete uninterruptible power, voice and data system in a small watertight transportable case.
This rapid deployment, portable, Enroute communication Case accommodates the DC power and voice requirement of 2 AN/PRC-152 Radios and 1 AN/PRC-117G (V)1(C) or RF-7800M-MP transceivers with triple 50 Watts 30-512MHz Multi-Band, FH amplification. The transceivers are securely mounted on a Jerk-And-Run mount inside the case.The ITPC saves many BA 5590/U batteries and will pay for itself after only one month of operation by eliminating extensive and expensive battery replacement while conserving batteries for critical missions. The ITPC system contains high efficiency AC and DC power supplies, 1 rechargeable backup battery, charger and control circuits that allow the user to operate the transceivers from any AC power source worldwide (85 270 VAC / 47 440 Hz including AC generator, local power grid and aircraft power) or 9 36V DC power source to include HMMWV, military vehicle, 12V commercial vehicle, boat and aircraft.
The power units supply uninterruptible power to the transceivers while charging the one 26.V/2.4AH internal rechargeable, removable backup battery that automatically powers the AN/PRC-117G transceiver during an AC or DC power failure. Operating status of the unit is provided to the user via three Night Vision Goggles (NVG) compatible test indicator lights and a TTL logic output. A 26.5VDC nominal / 1A auxiliary power is available to power an external device or Amplified Speaker. Full protection is provided by the unit against EMI & RFI noise, voltage surge, reverse polarity, over-voltage, over temperature and short circuit.
The ABP-ITPC-CV-22 includes 3 High Efficiency ABP-HEAS-1 Amplified Speakers (CV-22-2S includes two speakers) which can be used for local or remote operation of up to 3 transceivers. Standard military handset/headset, H-250/U or similar type (G.F.E.) can be connected to the Amplified Speaker. A special Automatic Level Control (ALC) circuit at the audio inputs insures constant audio level at the speaker regardless to the level of the received audio from the transceiver/encryption unit. A 5 Watts of clear, crisp audio overcomes noisy environment and provides the user with consistent audio clarity.
The ITPC is a robust, water/air tight and sand/dust proof case. Operating temperature range is 400 C to +700 C. Storage temperature range is 450 C to +850 C.
