This Broadband Manpack HF Antenna kit with tuned wire and telescopic mast for Rapid Forward Deployment provides a versatile range of tuned wire antenna solutions for use with man-pack or vehicle applications. It provides the radio operator the opportunity to deploy an antenna suitable for most requirements. The antenna can be configured as a Tuned Dipole for medium range Skywave paths with the take off angle dependent on the apex height above ground. Near Vertical Incidence Skywave (NVIS) can be achieved using this antenna in an inverted vee configuration with an optimum apex height.
