Intelligent prototyping
The Stratasys F170 from the F123 3D printer series produces high-precision and resilient plastic components up to a size of 254 x 254 x 254 mm in one piece. The thermoplastic building materials ABS-M30, ABS-CF10, ASA and PLA as well as the elastomer FDM TPU 92A are used.
Depending on the material, up to four different layer thicknesses are available for 3D printing with the Stratasys F170. Depending on the requirements, print jobs can be produced either in the highest quality level or at the highest speed.
Reliable, Accurate and Affordable
The 3D printers of the new Stratasys F123 series are used at all stages of the design prototyping process from the design phase to high-quality functional prototypes. The Stratasys F170 3D printer already meets the most modern rapid prototyping requirements and needs.
The completely new touchscreen display is clear and enables simple, intuitive operation. An integrated camera for process monitoring, automatic calibration, the new GrabCAD Print software and faster material changes are further noteworthy innovations.
Compatible materials
Standard thermoplastics
- PLA inexpensive material for the production of first drafts in 11 colors: natural, red translucent, yellow translucent, green translucent, blue translucent, black, white, red, blue, light gray, medium gray
- ABS-M30 opaque, stable ABS plastic in 9 colors: ivory, white, black, dark gray, red, blue, olive green, neon yellow, nectarine
- ABS-CF10 carbon fiber-filled ABS material in black
- ASA UV-resistant, fade-resistant all-purpose material in 10 colors: ivory, white, black, dark gray, light gray, red, dark blue, green, yellow, orange
Engineering thermoplastics
- FDM TPU 92A an elastic, thermoplastic polyurethane with 92 Shore A, which combines flexibility and elongation with abrasion and tear resistance (optionally available)
Support material
automatically washable; to be removed mechanically in the case of PLA
