Saddle Brook Controls’ parent company Ribble Engineering was established in 1933 to serve the automation needs of industry in New Jersey and New York. The company specialized in electro-mechanical components and later migrated to electronic controls. Ribble Engineering took pride in associating itself with leading edge products and technologies and began handling Programmable Logic Controllers while the industry was in its infancy. While component product sales remained strong, more and more high technology products were added to the company’s stable of products. To address the sales and engineering issues associated with these product lines, the Saddle Brook Controls division of Ribble was formed in 1980 to sell and support its growing line of system-level products.

In 1995, the company was purchased by a group of four employees who had over 50 years combined experience with the company. We have expanded with a sales office in Long Island, NY; and with a strong presence in Connecticut and Pennsylvania. There have been many changes at our company, including new products and a focus on the “Saddle Brook Controls” name. What has not changed, however, is our commitment to supporting our customers. Every product offered by Saddle Brook Controls is supported by a team of factory-trained Application Specialists. Our Engineering Services include control panel design assistance, UL 508A C/UL/US control panel manufacturing, product training and start-up assistance. We are also continuing our tradition of offering state-of-the-art products from manufacturers recognized as leaders in their respective industries.
