Our History

The history of Railtechniek van Herwijnen B.V. goes back a long way. The original founder, Mr. Leo van Herwijnen started his career in the early 1950s at the Teleflex BV company in Rotterdam, after which in 1983 he founded Railtechniek van Herwijnen B.V. in Tiel, The Netherlands.Since then, his sons Menno and Jürgen have taken over the company and have expanded its activities extensively to become one of the leading suppliers of overhead conveyors in the world.
