Established in 2015, Franklin Robotics is a startup based in Boston. The company develops robots for agriculture and has a team of 4 roboticists who previously developed robots at iRobot, Harvest Automation, MIT’s AI Lab, and Rethink Robotics.

Our New CEO Helen Greiner is one of the founders of iRobot.

Franklin Robotics is now changing to Tertill Corporation.

With a focus on helping small-scale growers, the company designs and develops practical robots that do work in the real world. Tertill Corporation has focused on weeding, one of the most tedious parts of gardening. It has developed Tertill, a solar powered robot that lives in a vegetable or flower gardens, addresses weeding in an engaging and environmentally friendly way.
