AboutApullma Maschinenfabrik GmbH & Co. KG

As a medium-sized specialized company, APULLMA has been involved with metal processing for 100 years. Since 1975 we specialize in conveyor technology. With our 50 employees, we are so well positioned that today well-known companies in Germany and abroad belong to our circle of customers.

New markets, rapid technological advancements, and changing customer needs are real challenges. Many years of know-how are the right ground to germinate innovative ideas. A breeding ground for project-related and customer-oriented solutions. Our claim in the design is to deliver the highest quality. We therefore construct as if we were responsible for a series product, which is to be used in large numbers with countless customers. Reliable, low-material use and production-efficient are our solutions. For you, this means the highest quality of your individual construction at a comparably low price with the fastest possible delivery.

Individual series products

Thanks to our high demands on our individual customer solutions, we have already been able to develop numerous solutions that have made the switch to the series product. Thus, the SuperClean stainless steel conveyor systems, which are characterized by previously unattainable hygienic properties, are among the latest series products from our company. These and many other solutions, from the filling dosing scales to the shredding conveyor, virtually only need to be adapted to the required dimensions and production can begin. It does not work more efficiently. Flexible and fast Our production and assembly for customized solutions is designed according to the workshop principle. A team of skilled workers is responsible for the entire manufacturing process of the individual sales order. This form of design is ideal to ensure maximum flexibility in terms of customer requirements. At the same time, we are constantly investing in machines and systems that make the share of our mass production in conveyor technology even more efficient. Thus, step by step, we are increasing our productivity with standard components in the direction of flow production, without neglecting the high degree of customization of our customer-specific solutions.

CNC and metalworking

As much automated machine production as possible, as much individual production as necessary. We construct according to this principle, and according to this principle, component design is also designed. Proven components are manufactured in small series by means of CNC. The high proportion of already prefabricated components from in-house production or procurement ensures the high quality of our individual and innovative solutions at standard prices.

Welding and mounting

Components that already lead to handling problems in our own assembly go back to the design for revision. Our goal is to ensure that our systems can be serviced without any problems during operation. If you look at our solutions, you will realize that even though they are complex, they are clearly structured and easy to handle by your technical staff for maintenance and service.

Control integration

Increasing automation as well as horizontal and vertical integration of the conveyor technology also requires that the so-called continuous conveyor technology is increasingly flexibly integrated into the production process and assumes functions that were previously fulfilled by independent devices. Feed-through scales, rejects or stop-and-go conveyors are just a few examples of intelligent conveyor technology. Of course, we integrate in our solutions the electronics and control technology suitable for your overall concept. In-house belt assembly Thanks to in-house belt assembly, Apullma offers you a complete conveyor technology service from a single source. Your advantage: The conveyor table and conveyor belt are optimally matched already during construction. And in the case of service, you have a single contact person, who can also act faster than the naturally usually slightly slower service large harness manufacturer.

We assemble standard goods such as plastic modular belts, hinged plate belts or wire mesh belts as well as rubber and plastic belts of all kinds. So we are able to always work out the best solution for your individual conveyor technology - from simple blanks to, for example, mounted drivers or Well Kant conveyors. A particularly innovative solution, where conveyor table construction and belt technology go hand in hand, is our new wrap conveyor , eg for the loss-free and contamination-protected transport of bulk goods. Stainless Steel - This material is much heavier than simple metals and is Apullma's specialty. Compared to "normal steels", it requires a significantly higher qualification in cutting, turning, drilling and grinding as well as in welding, bending or forming.

High-precision shaping

For example, we use innovative water-jet technology for cutting steel plates. This avoids heating and burring of the material and thus makes it possible to cut all types of stainless steel sheets with high precision and without deformations.

Gentle material processing

When processing stainless steel, it is also important to preserve the desired material properties. Thus, by improper welding or forming the corrosion protection of the stainless steel surface damaged and can not be restored by subsequent, purely mechanical surface treatment.

Reliable corrosion protection

However, pickling the stainless steel surface is an effective method of producing reliable corrosion protection. In this area, we work closely with our subsidiary APV Oberflächentechnik . Learn more about stainless steel processing and corrosion protection. Really stainless steel is only obtained if the steel surface is always treated carefully and properly. For example, the high-alloy chromium-nickel-steel alloy is corrosion-resistant only if the ability to form a so-called "passive layer" is retained. This layer, consisting of chromium oxides, can only arise if the surface is metallically pure.

Especially when welding, for example, dark scale layers and tarnish are produced. Here the ""passive layer"" is destroyed and thus creates potential targets for corrosion. Deformation processes also often involve the deposition of ferritic particles, which once again form an attack surface.

The subsequent, purely mechanical surface treatment can not restore the rust protection. The still widespread machining processes, such as grinding, turning or blasting, even lead to tensions in the near-surface areas. So it comes in the long term to susceptibility to stress corrosion cracking.

However, by pickling the stainless steel surface, these contaminants can be permanently removed. The metal thus builds up a new passive layer, which effectively protects against corrosion. To ensure that our individual conveyor technology solutions always meet the highest quality standards, we work closely with our subsidiary APV Oberflächentechnik. Maintenance Support Conveyor systems are the main artery of value flow in many industries. Failure often brings the entire operation to a standstill or costs enormous manpower to keep the operations alive. For this reason, the greatest importance is attached to the availability of conveyor technology. If required, we regularly maintain your facilities to ensure availability at all times.

Emergency service

In the event of unforeseeable breakdowns, our service bus fleet is available around the clock. They are equipped with the most important equipment, so that any repairs can be done quickly. In addition, we always keep important consumables and the most important spare parts in stock so that no delays occur due to delivery deadlines. We offer you a service that differentiates us from many providers who have dimensioned their warehousing exclusively for in-house production.Maintenance Support Conveyor systems are the main artery of value flow in many industries.
