The electrical energy supplied to the device is 100% converted into thermal energy. Up to 96% of this energy can be recovered and used thermally. The savings achieved as a result are phenomenal. The exact key figure depends on the size of the compressors and the energy source replaced (electricity, gas, heating oil). Many older compressors can also be retrofitted for heat recovery.
Large, low-speed compressor blocks are more efficient and deliver more compressed air with the same drive power. We therefore recommend screw compressor blocks with the lowest possible drive speed and optimized profiles, optionally with refrigeration dryer, compressed air tank and variable-speed drive.
