The evaporators of the CEM (Controlled Evaporator Mixer) series bring a liquid into the gas or vapor phase in a targeted manner. Here, a liquid is precisely mixed with a carrier gas (customer medium) via a "LIQUI-FLOW" or "CORI-FLOW" and injected into an evaporation chamber.
The necessary evaporation energy is supplied in the downstream heat exchanger. Pulsation-free steam is available at the system outlet. With the patented CEM system it is possible to vaporize liquids very precisely in a large dynamic range. By simply adjusting the amount of gas or liquid, the mixing ratio and thus the composition of the vapor or the concentration of moisture can be set quickly and directly. Fluids with different vapor pressures can also be vaporized with gas mixtures directly in this device.
With four different systems (W101A, W102A, W202A, W303B) fluid quantities from 0.01 g/h to 1.2 kg/h liquid (water equivalent) can be evaporated. Media with a lower enthalpy can also be evaporated in significantly larger quantities. The pressure range extends from high vacuum to 100 barg. An inert gas can be fed into the evaporator or the system can be evacuated via a purge and evacuation connection before operation. This means that the CEM can also be used for highly reactive media without any problems.
