Overview

The variable speed drive ATV71 (Altivar 71) drive features a Power Removal safety function that is designed to help ensure motor stopping and help prevent accidental restarts. This safety function means that the drive can be installed as part of the safety system for an Electrical/ Electronic/Programmable Electronic control system relating to the safety of a machine or industrial process.

Features of variable speed drive ATV71:

1. Speed range: from 1 to 1 000 in closed loop mode with encoder feedback, from 1 to 100 in open loop mode.
2. 200-240 V single-phase.
3. 200-240 V / 380-690 V 3-phase, 50/60 Hz.
4. Speed regulation by flux vector control with or without sensor.
5. Integrated EMC filter class A.
6. Integrated Modbus and CANopen.
7. I/O extension cards, interface cards for encoder.
8. Communication cards: Fipio, Ethernet, Modbus Plus, PROFIBUS DP, DeviceNet, Uni-Telway, INTERBUS.
9. Controller Inside programmable card.
