TT RS.

The Toscotec Rotating Screen TT RS is used in recycled paper stock preparation plants to de-water the coarse rejects coming from upstream cleaning equipment. It is very frequently installed as the final stage of a recycled paper continuous pulper (Toscotec Low Density Pulper) de-trashing system.

This machine is also designed to efficiently perform water recovery. The drive system is composed of a gear motor and the perforated basket rotates on plastic supports.

The TT RS ensures a very clean rejects handling thanks to the enclosed design. The rejects are fed through an axial pipe inside the basket and the water is recovered in the lower collecting tray. The contaminants are conveyed to the outlet thanks to internal inserts welded to the basket itself that ensures their optimal lifting and dropping. The drum angle is studied to ensure optimal retention time of the rejects.

The basket can be equipped with different diameter holes according to the application. A shower is provided to keep the holes clean and ensure the lowest fiber losses. The overhung drum bearing design makes maintenance very easy.
