Modular manipulation input centering systems

The DWS 3 Input centering conveyor serves for fast, accurate and safe insertion of prisms into the ripsaws. It is designed so that the prism can be transported from the forehead or from oblique slides from the right or left side.

It is produced in several length versions according to specific customer requirements. For transverse manipulation of the prism, either centering jaws or a transverse chain path are used. Both systems can be placed on the combined positioning bar.

When using centering jaws, the conveyor operates in automatic mode only with operator supervision. The prism is always clamped by the jaws so that the prism axis is identical to the axis of feeding belt of ripsaw. While using chain tracks,  the chains will lift the prism on the chains. Using the joysticks, the operator manages the prism on the laser beam at its discretion.  The insertion is already automatic. For the positioning of laterally edged lumber, the conveyor is completed by a right ruler consisting of set of rollers. The plane of the ruler is identical to the face of the saw sleeve (or to the customer's wish). On the left side, the prism is pressed by roller jaws. The pressure of the rollers is reduced during insertion.
