Turned parts
What are turned parts?
When turning, the workpiece is machined using lathes or turn-mill centers. The turned parts are modeled with a lathe tool. The excess material of the turned part is thus removed by the turning tool, often at more than 1,000 revolutions per minute. The material properties, the tools used and the diameter to be machined influence the feed and the speed when turning.
