SURFACE FINISHES

SBC provides multiple surface/plating finishes to meet the many requirements of the electronics industry.

These inculde:

• Hot Air Solder Level (HASL) – Tin/Lead – SN63/PB37 (Non-RoHS)
• ENIG (Electroless Nickel – Immersion Gold) (RoHS Compliant)
• Immersion Silver (RoHS Compliant)
• Gold Plating (RoHS Compliant)
• Edge Plating
• Gold Fingers

Laboratory – SBC has its own fully functional on-site Lab. It has complete capability to support process controls throughout the manufacturing process. All chemical baths are analyzed on a strict schedule. Test coupons are placed on 100% of panels processed. Boards and test coupons are analyzed through cross sections and measuring equipment to check for hole integrity and metal thickness on a routine daily basis. Our test coupons allow us to maintain a high level of quality control in many areas including: registration, plating thicknesses, hole quality, and dielectric thicknesses.
