Composite Drum SKF 205

The SL composite drum 205L combines the excellent performance of the SL steel tight head drum with the chemical resistance and suitability for foodstuffs of a high-quality plastic packaging. The inner container of high-molecular polyethylene has been adapted to the form of the steel body and meets the strict stipulations of the US food inspection (FDA). Immediately following production, the inner container is tightly closed to keep the form stability and meet the highest hygiene requirements. Folding is being done only after the steel container has been painted. In addition, the space in between is hermetically sealed with a round cord seal.

A ventilated screwed closure is optionally available to compensate the pressure. The dimensions meet the international standard DIN EN 15750. With variants in steel thickness and the weight of the inner container (3.0, 4.5 and 6.0 kg), the SL composite drum is adapted to the highest performance requirements. Handling of the drums is perfectly tailored to filling, transport, storage and withdrawal.
